Late one afternoon in early September of 2018, my pal Henry Wimmer (DJ w KXSF) dialed me with an offer I couldn’t refuse - great seats to see Hot Tuna with special guest, Steve Kimock at the Crest Theater in Sacramento, in exchange for a lift to the show. The significant challenge of Bay Bridge Traffic and a 90 mile, rush hour trip to the state capital left us undaunted…. In the long run we lucked out! No major issues on the bridge or 1-80 and to boot, the tickets Henry provided were dead-center, front row with no obstructions! Other than the first couple of tunes I managed to capture most of the show!

Good friends were present and a classic old-school vibe were present in the room when Jorma, Jack, Steve and Justin took the stage and ripped-it up in the classic electric-tuna style!
